you can paint them rather quickly. However, I let them dry 2 days before using them. The actual process of painting is like this: 20 minutes to clean and scrub all calipers of any brake dust/fluid. 10 minutes to tape things off 20 minutes x number of coats to paint 2 days to dry. It said 24 hours on the can, but mine were still tacky after that, so I waited a little longer.
